How to Create an Annotation

To begin adding feedback to your image or PDF, follow these steps in the image editor:

  1. Enter Annotation Mode: Click the blue + Add Annotation button located in the top-right corner of the editor.

  2. Drop a Pin: Click directly on the area of the image you wish to discuss. A numbered blue pin will appear at that exact location.

3 Label Your Feedback: In the Image Details sidebar under the Annotations tab, a new entry will appear matching your pin number. Type a clear, concise title for your feedback and click Save.

Managing Your Annotations

The Annotations tab in the sidebar provides a central list for managing all feedback items dropped on the asset:

  • Sequential Organization: Every annotation is automatically numbered to help your team reference specific points of feedback.

  • Editing Titles: If you need to refine your instructions, click the title of an existing annotation to open the text field, make your changes, and click Save.

  • Deleting Feedback: To remove an annotation, click the trash can icon next to the item in the sidebar. A confirmation prompt will appear stating, "This action cannot be undone". Click Yes to permanently delete the pin and its associated comments.

  • Comment Tracking: Each annotation entry shows the number of active comments allowing you to see where discussions are taking place.
