Tasks in the project

A task is an actionable item derived from feedback on your project’s images or PDFs.

Each task acts as a bridge between a specific visual annotation and your workflow, ensuring team members know exactly what needs to be changed.

Defining Task Details

Once a task is created, click on it to open the Task Details window to provide specific instructions:

  • Editing the Title: You can change the title at any time in the Title field to accurately reflect the required action (e.g., "Change the logo").

  • Assigning a Member: Use the Assigned To dropdown menu to select the team member responsible for the task.

  • Setting Status: Use the Status dropdown to move the task into a specific workflow stage, such as In Progress or Completed.

  • Adding a Description: Use the Description box to provide detailed context or technical specifications (e.g., "Make the logo bigger").

Creating and Adding Tasks

Tasks can be added quickly from two primary locations within your project:

  • From the Image Editor: While reviewing an image, select the Tasks tab in the Image Details sidebar. Type your feedback into the Add new task... field to instantly create a work item linked to that visual asset.

  • From the Tasks Dashboard: Navigate to the main Tasks tab in the project header. In either the List view, you can click the + Add task button within any workflow column to create a new item.

Organizing Tasks in the Project

The project dashboard offers multiple ways to view and organize your active workload:

Use the view toggles to switch between a focused List View and a clustered view.

  • Task List Headers: In the list view, tasks are organized by their Status (e.g., To Do, In Progress) and display the assigned member and creation date for quick reference.

  • Visual Priority: Each task entry in the list view provides a direct summary of who is working on the item and when it was added.
